Haven't updated in a while, so I thought you guys should see what I've been up to.



Been continuing with RDM. Having a blast with the job. I dinged 71 not too long ago. I've been hating Erucas, and level sync has been getting on my nerves.



Dinged 72 on my RDM. This party was funny. Zippie and I were the only NAs in this party, and he ended up falling asleep or something (after claiming he was the master of the {Long Time} {Party}). After that happened, the JPs ended up circling around him and spammed /clap. The Galka even put on a subligar and did a humping motion to the taru. ;>.>



With RDM getting up there, becaue of level sync. I've had to skill up Enfeebling Magic. I got about 10 levels every hour, so it wasn't that bad, although I do hate skilling up. =/

So I finally got 74 on RDM. So what did I do? I subbed NIN and helped Bear get his Assault Jerkin. Tokyorose brought her SMN along and pretty much annihilated the thing. Grats Bear on your oranginess.

Speaking of Dynamis, this Beaucedine was crazy.



Wasn't expecting to get anything, but 4 of these dropped, lol. I always planned on leveling SCH, and this is probably one of the best pieces of AF2 for it. (Hope the sublimation effect stacks with AF1 hat.) We had a TON of gear drop.

Well, I'm getting RDM to 75 as we speak. It's been a strange long trip with this job. I've MBed, Enfeebled, and nuked. But I think it's the most fun job I've played so far in terms of soloability. (I know BST is 59, but I think RDM solo > BST solo in terms of fun.)

I still need to work on my leathercrafting sub. It's still at 13, and it needs to be 60! I needs moar profit from clothcraft, so I can get other crafting subs to 60.

Also, I think I'm gonna take woodworking to 100+3 on one of my mules first. I really want a signed set of HQ staves, and none of my friends have Woodworking leveled. Also, I feel bad for Tokyoroses' roommate inadvertently destroying her stave collection, so I'm gonna make some for her, lol.

OMG, I'm so happy right now. Just did another ISNM and got another 340k ore! Thanks everyone who helped!

After getting Ni, I decided it was time to get NIN to 37. I started out the morning at level 31, and after four charges of an Anniversary Ring, and one charge of an Empress Band, my NIN subjob is now complete. Thanks to everyone who helped me get Ni and power leveled my NIN. (Also, I love level sync...it's love hate, but I love it.)

Decided since I finished my NIN subjob, that it was finally time to finish my Walahra Turban, since I had enough Imperial Standing. It's great for soloing on WHM, and I know I'm gonna use it on melee jobs in the future.



Speaking of soloing on WHM. I had to go solo Tough mobs.  So I went to The Boyahda tree to skill up. Was soooo much fun, even tho the fights took 20 minutes. I now have 228/230 staff skill on my WHM. I hate how the Retribution WS is at the skill cap.

I finally got RDM to 70. I don't have a screenie for it, but after almost a year of on/off playing FFXI. (Including a huge 2 month break). It's almost complete. I think I'm gonna cap out merits on my current jobs when I get out of boot camp and can play FFXI again freely. So I guess I'll show a list of my goals.


White Mage:

My White Mage is pretty much complete. I would like to sign some +1 gear for it when my clothcraft is 100+6, but I'll have to wait til I can get enough gil to level it. I need to finish completing all merits for it.

Black Mage:

Definitely want to cap out my merits on BLM. Problem is though, I really need to figure out if I want to max out two AM2 merits, or just get all the AM2.

I also want to gear BLM a lot better. Would like to get full Morrigan's set. Also, I would like a Witch Sash and Ixion Cloak. But I'm gonna wait for those to come down to about 500k before I buy them. Novio Earring is on my list as well, but I don't have an HNMLS.

Red Mage:

Need to get those last 5 levels. It should be 75 by tomorrow, don't really have anything planned for New Years Eve since I can't get drunk this week. =(

When it's 75, this is gonna be my primary meriting job until I get BRD/WHM (or /NIN) to 75. So I'm definitely gonna cap out merits on RDM. And probably going to cap my Enfeebling and Elemental Magic Skills. (Not gonna cap attributes or weapon skills yet. If I'm gonna be locked on a Marine Corps Air Station for the next year, I'm gonna go for Maat's Cap.)

I also want to start doing limbus when I get back from Parris Island. Would love to get RDM and BLM AF+1. Also, I want those sexy, sexy Nashira pants. <3

Other Jobs:

When I get back from recruit training, I'm probably going to get every job to 37 (that's not already there or above it.) So I don't have to worry about lacking any subjob. From there, I'm probably gonna take BRD to 75 for merits/itemwhoring. From there, I don't know where I'm gonna go. I want Maat's Cap, so I'm not really gonna level BLU, PUP, SCH, DNC, or COR (even tho I really want to) right away. I'm probably gonna level SMN after BRD so I can use that damn ring I got two days ago, lol.

Crafting:

Obviously, I need to finish off clothcraft to 100, but that's not gonna happen until I get Leathercraft and Goldsmithing to 60, since those are the most important crafting subs.

I need to finish Leathercraft sub. It's 13 right now, and should be nothing but profit to 60 since I farm my own leathers.

I need to start working on Goldsmithing to 60. Would probably be best to mine Copper and Zinc Ores for the first couple levels.

Also, while I'm at it, I should probably do smithing to 60 too. I can keep myself afloat by synthing Kaginawa, since I could HQ it.

Other Stuff:

I'm really hoping one of my friends takes woodworking to 100 so I can trade for a set of signed HQ staves, lol.

I really need to finish RoTZ and ToAU missions. I really want to do Divine Might so I can get a Suppannomimi. Also, I need to do Apocalypse Nigh for the Magnetic Earring for my RDM and WHM.

I'm gonna start assaulting a lot when I get back.  I want to get T10 assaults, full Yigit set, and then just whore Nyzul Isle like everybody else. (And start doing Salvage with the points I get from it.)

Probably gonna camp a lot of the rare/ex gear that's invaluable for certain jobs. I already have Empress Hairpin and Bounding Boots. I would like to get Ochimusha Kote, Sarutobi Kyahan, and Peacock Amulet for when I level my melee jobs to 75.

Getting a Mannequin would be nice, but not really a top priority. Along with a Kraken Club...but not a top priority, just gonna whore the BCNM until it drops. (Love BST farming.) As well as two new Astral Rings.

So yeah, that's a lot of shit, but it shouldn't take me too long, cause I have a lot of great friends that are willing to help me.

Well, I had a long ass post today, lol. Happy Holidays everyone, and drive safe New Year's Eve.

So I've been continuing with RDM like a mad-man. I should be 70 tonight. Can't wait to get into errant gear, and use the AF2 boots I got in Dynamis-Sand'oria.



Did my first besieged in almost a year. Besieged is still....besieged....but now with moar Khimmy! Only got 200 XP because I kept dying from invisible AoE. Besieged > Stoneskin + Phalanx + Utsusemi.



So I'm still on my quest to get Utsusemi: Ni.....Did Under Observation twice. Thanks to Ashay (for two BCNMs), Amador, and Veet (each helping with one BCNM). The only problem was I got about 10k worth of drops each time. I WOULD have gotten 500k, had Erase not been FUCKED by ISNMs. Oh well, with two wipes, and two shitty BCNMs something good was bound to happen.



BAM! Khroma Ore is 320k, which pays for the majority of Utsusemi: Ni. I had some old equipment rotting on a mule of mine to make up the rest, so thank you Epoc for inviting me to the ISNM. And, thank you Ashay for being my good luck charm. ^^



Another Dynamis-Xarcabard! I don't think I'll ever get tired of doing Xarcabard and Beaucedine runs. The AF is so sexy. Speaking of Sexy, grats to Elmoz and Gambit on the two Duelist Chapeaus that dropped this past run. And also grats on whoever got Melee Cyclas. (Name escapes me atm.)



Finally got my Evoker's Ring...maybe now i can get SMN to 75. It's 42 right now, but it was gonna be my original 75 (til I learned it was a gimp WHM and leveled WHM....)

I've been trying to get NIN to 37 lately. I really want to sub it for my RDM (Which is 66 right now.) Problem is tho, I'm broke, and Ni is almost half a million gil. =( Tried BCNMing for it, and ended up wiping twice on both my orbs. Still have two left, but I'm looking for a better group to BCNM with. So if anyone wants to help, give me a tell in game.



Speaking of RDM/NIN, I soloed Dark Spark for a linkshell mate the other day. Was pretty intense considering I was only 66RDM/31NIN at the time. It ended up Mijining and killed Ecraven and left me at 200 health, lol. Was fun, and Grats to Ecraven for his BLM AF Hands. (Was too busy during actual Dark Spark fight ot take pics. >_<)



I killed Leviathan today. Ended up casting one Thunder III, and right after I got one-shotted with his 2hr along with the Taru PLD. But we whipped his ass, and I finally got the last item for Evoker's Ring for when I get off my ass and get SMN to 75. Just waiting til JP midnight now to get my ring. =)

Woohoo! Just got Recruit in Leathercraft....52 more levels to go. 20 more levels on Clothcraft (80+1), and 2 more guild items to get.

So I  got back, and the first thing I did was a Dynamis-Xarcabard. Was pretty fun, except for Dynamis Lord getting an oblivion smash off and one-shotting 3/4th the alliance with 3% health. =/

So I'm crafting right now. Gonna go run with PFC Bortner and Private Nelson to get ready for boot camp in about 45 minutes.

Well, It's back to FFXI. I had a little stint in WoW that I'm not proud of. But hell, I'm starting to get out in life. I joined the Marine Corps hoping to find what I want to do with my life. I got a 91 on my ASVAB, but failed the DLAB test by 4 points. I get to re-take it when I get out of boot camp and if I pass, I can change my MOS to Cryptologic Linguist. ヽ(｀д´)ノ That way, I can finally learn Japanese like I always wanted, along with Korean, and Chinese. I'm gonna start posting screenshots of my adventures here soon. Stay posted. ;o
